Following their decision to "consciously uncouple," fans of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have been speculating what will happen next. Since the couple amicably announced their separation, the two have been spotted together looking very much like a married couple. From holding hands on vacation to laughing over dinner, people were left wondering: Could the Coldplay frontman and his leading-lady wife be reuniting after all?
Unfortunately, the answer is no, according to Martin himself. In an interview with Valentine in the Morning, a California-based radio station, Martin shared that the couple is still separated.
"The thing that we told everyone at the beginning of the year is true," Martin said, referring to the duo's breakup announcement. "We're very close. We're not together. That's the truth."

The pair, who are parents to 10-year-old daughter Apple and 8-year-old son Moses, have always remained extremely secretive about their relationship, choosing to never walk the red carpet together in favor of keeping their personal life private. So Martin's recent announcement speaks volumes about the state of their relationship. "You know, there's a lot of love," Martin said. "So there's nothing — there's no scandal I'm afraid. I wish I could give you scandal."
Martin has always made it abundantly clear how he feels about his estranged wife. From first announcing their relationship was like "winning the lottery" to his post-breakup album filled with crooning declarations of unwavering love, there's no shortage of good will between the former Mr. and Mrs. Martin.
No matter what happen with these two, they'll always be one of our favorite Hollywood couples.
