Gossip Girl-alum Blake Lively is known for her flawless style and effortless beauty. But in the August issue of Vogue, Lively doesn't discuss her impeccable wardrobe, rather she opens up about her personal life. The actress talks about her husband of nearly two years Ryan Reynolds, and their ultra-private 2012 South Carolina wedding.
And while we never actually got to see a full-length photo of the star's custom Marchesa wedding dress, we now know one new detail about the surely stunning dress: It's burned.
"Florence Welch was singing at the reception, and they brought out these sparklers, and I'm watching her sing," Lively says. "I look down and my wedding dress has a big burn mark from one of these sparklers. Right on the front!"

The blonde beauty says she was "heartbroken" over the incident, but Reynolds helped her put it into perspective. "Ryan said, 'Isn't that beautiful ... You'll always remember that moment with Florence singing and the sparklers. You have that forever, right there, preserved.' Now that's my favorite part of the dress."

The way Reynolds helps her view life is one of her favorite parts about being married, she explains. She also shared how her husband is helping out with Preserve, her very own Goop-esque lifestyle website, by contributing some of his own personal writing, which in Lively's words is "beautiful."
And it's safe to say children are in this couple's future: "He's going to be a great father and leader and patriarch — he's so meant to be all of those things," Lively says. "The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become, and we get to grow from there."
It sounds like married life is certainly treating these two well!
