We've heard of a bridesmaid for hire, but never a flower girl for hire! Four-year-old Annabelle Earl dreamed of being a flower girl, but unfortunately, no one she knew was getting married. So the little one decided to take matters into her own hands.
The adorable Brooklyn-ite showed up at the City Clerk's office in Manhattan last Friday wearing a floral dress and white lace gloves, while carrying a a dozen roses and a giant sign that read, "Can I bet your flower girl?" NBC News reports. Of course, her mom accompanied her. In fact, it was her idea!
Annabelle's desire to be a flower girl blossomed after hearing about it from her babysitter's daughter, a seasoned flower girl. Her mom wanted to help make that dream come true, so off they went to the City Clerk's office, in search of a couple.

Surprisingly, no one was biting. "We stood there and she held up her sign and people walked past and would smile but no one came up to her," Annabelle's mom tells NBC News. "I said, 'I think we're going to have to ask people.'"
After hours of asking, one bride finally said yes! "She was too adorable to say no to, and we thought it would be fun to make her day as well as ours," the bride says.

Once the couple's number was called, the soon-to-be-newlyweds and Annabelle walked inside. Believe or not, this confident tot got nervous before her big moment! But once her mom held her, she was ready to do what she went there to do. After she handed the bride her bouquet — which Annabelle said was her favorite part — she asked the most important question: "Is there cake?" Of course there's cake! Annabelle and her mom went to a bakery to celebrate their success.
