With two months until George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding in Italy, the engaged couple did something of a dry run for their big day recently!
People reports that the duo recently attended Alamuddin's cousin's wedding in Italy. Not only did Alamuddin bring her handsome A-list fiancé to the Florence wedding of her cousin Tarek Miknas and his new wife Darina Pavlova, she officiated the ceremony! We can only imagine that Alamuddin, an Oxford-educated human rights lawyer and activist, was an eloquent and engaged officiant.
The gorgeous wedding, as seen in the Instagram above, took place on the 600-acre, 15th-century Villa Mangiacane estate in the countryside just outside Florence replete with grape vines and olive groves. Perhaps Clooney and Alamuddin took some notes for their own upcoming nuptials?

According to a source, Clooney maintained a low profile to ensure the spotlight remained on the wedding party.
The event took place after Clooney and Alamuddin enjoyed a stay at Clooney's Lake Como estate. While they were there, they weathered the Daily Mail scandal in which the paper falsely alleged that Alamuddin's mother disapproved of her daughter's fiancé due to his religion. Not only did Clooney pen a scathing criticism of the story, the two mothers were seen happily shopping in Lake Como shortly after. It sounds like everyone's bonding before the big day! We can't wait for it to come.
