Men don't always say exactly what they need. At times, it can feel like getting into their heads is the equivalent of decoding the ancient Egyptian pyramids. So in addition to all the other things you've learned about your husband, make sure you also take note of these to create and sustain a loving and lasting marriage.
1. He needs you.
Whether you believe that Eve was created because Adam needed her or that the entire human race was created by a big bang theory, what cannot be disputed is men become greater versions of themselves once they've found the one who loves, encourages and challenges them to be their best selves.
2. He is fragile.
Women tend to be more emotional creatures but it is our male counterparts who are the more fragile gender. They are protectors by nature, taught the art of bravado from a very early age, and yet when you strip all that back, there is an incredibly vulnerable person clutching his heart hoping it will not get hurt. Consider your husband's ego to be something with the fragility of expensive china. Don't toss it around as it will surely break — rather encase it, protect it, shelter it and provide it a safe home.

3. He will give the world to the one he trusts most.
The lyrics of the song, When a Man Loves a Woman, should really be attributed to when a man trusts a woman. Arguably, two very different things. The complete heart of a man is in the hands of the person he fully trusts. Give him the security that he needs and he'll love you all the days of his life.

4. He thinks about sex ... a lot ... but that's to your advantage.
Although the notion that men think about sex every seven seconds is up for debate, as some scientists have reported, we do know sexual thoughts race through their mind far more often than they do through women's. But if you want to meet a husband who is genuinely happy, willing to do anything for his wife from laundry to dishes to cooking dinner, you won't have to search for long. A sexually satisfied man is clear-headed and happy to give to his wife whatever is requested.
5. He loves it when you brag about him (especially, when he hears about it through a third-party).
There are three good reasons you should brag about your husband, but the most important is it will cause him to want to do more for you. Recognize him for what he is already doing and rest assured he will continuously want to step it up a notch.
