Kate Middleton's gorgeous bridal party dresses for the Royal Wedding made us love all-white weddings. And since then, plenty of people have followed suit — from Kimye's sleek YolanCris designs to Cara Delevingne's bridesmaid dress for sister Poppy's wedding. But it can be tricky getting your whitewashed bridal party to stand out in photos. Cue our wedding etiquette experts, who are here to answer your style and photography questions.

I am having a white wedding (I'm talking white flowers, white linens, the works) and I want the bridal party and our parents to dress in white, too. Are my wedding photos going to look strange?

Thanks to Pippa Middleton, bridesmaids dressed in white are totally on-trend. Guys in all white, however, are a little Love Boat. Opt for light khaki suits for the groom, groomsmen, ring bearer, and fathers of the bride and groom instead if you don't want your wedding pictures to look like a cast photo. As the bride, you will want to stand out in pictures, so pick a dress style for your bridesmaids that is significantly different from your own gown. Short dresses as a contrast is an obvious choice, but also consider switching up the necklines and the fabric to really draw a distinction. Last, ensure that your mom and your fiancé's mother are in communication as they go dress shopping. Two middle-aged women in matching Bianca Jagger tuxes will make your pictures feel costumey, not cohesive.
