The time has come: We finally have a good look at Jessica Simpson's wedding dress! As soon as we heard that she wore a custom Carolina Herrera gown for her wedding to longtime fiancé Eric Johnson last weekend, we just had to know what the stunning dress looked like.

After several sneak peeks, we now do! Ever After Miami, a Florida-based bridal shop, posted the Instagram seen above, which offers a with close-up look at the Herrera creation, yesterday. The gold-embroidered strapless dress has the exact regal look we knew to expect from it (it was, after all, partially inspired by an Austrian empress!). The A-line skirt flatters her figure perfectly, while the muted colors of her rose bouquet add a classically romantic air to the entire look. In another photo posted by The Dress Reserve Chicago, seen below, the intricate bead work is more clear, as is her specially-dyed and -styled hair.
We can't say we're totally surprised that the singer and fashion mogul looked drop-dead gorgeous for her wedding, but seeing the joy and love between her and her new husband is always a heartwarming sight. Plus, we can also spot a few more wedding details in these photos. First, it appears that the San Ysidro Ranch, their venue, was decked out in romantic touches like hanging flowers during the ceremony.
Also, it looks like longtime BFF CaCee Cobb was among the bridesmaids, who all wore mismatched, formal dresses. People's exclusive video, seen below, details Simpson's desire to go with mismatch bridesmaid dresses.
"I personally can't have all of my girls in the same dress," she said. In that light, she chose dresses by designers including Marchesa, Jason Wu and Temperley, Carmen Marc Valvo and Herrera.
Nicole Chavez, Simpson's longtime pal and stylist, was responsible for coordinating the looks. "I'm a bridesmaid and I'm styling this entire production," she says in the video. "I really took into consideration, first, their body, what I knew that they would love, the colors and then we started sourcing different dresses for each one."
Now, all we need is a look at their children, Ace and Maxwell, at the nuptials — we heard that they stole the show!
