Warning: If you plan to watch upcoming ABC series Bachelor Pad do not read! Spoilers abound.
Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette is wrapping up, which means her sought-after happy ending isn't too far away. And it looks like one of her season's cut contestants found the fairytale he had been hoping for too.
The last time we saw Marcus Grodd, he was crying in the limo after getting dumped by the Bachelorette — but apparently he's already over it. So much so, that the ex bachelor-in-waiting is engaged according to WetPaint.
After getting kicked off following the hometown dates on Monday night's episode, Marcus headed to the series' spinoff Bachelor in Paradise set, where he met Lacy Faddoul of Juan Pablo's season. And, as they got to know each other in said "paradise," Marcus and ABC both got what they wanted all along: a season finale proposal.
We're not too surprised that Marcus was chosen to star in this re-vamped Bachelor Pad setup, and the speedy proposal doesn't shock us either. After all, he was probably the best looking guy on Andi's season. Plus, he seemed to be the most blindly lovestruck while courting Andi (see a cute pic of them together below), repeatedly professing his love for her throughout each and every episode.
And, despite our chuckles at the reality franchise's proclivity towards happy endings, post-season proposals are not uncommon at all. Renee Oteri announced her engagement right after she was booted before the finals last season, and plenty of other Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants from various season meet and even marry after their seasons air.
Congrats to the happy couple. We can't wait to see that Neil Lane ring!
