Prince Harry is known as the party prince for a reason. Unlike his brother Prince William, the loyal husband, doting father, and future King of England, Harry regularly lets his ginger hair down when he's not off serving his country (swoon). Remember his infamous Las Vegas trip two years ago, when a gal pal snapped those scandalous photos of him playing pool nude? Exactly. Though he's calmed down (a bit) since that snafu, the newly-single prince is living it up once again, this time in Miami Beach.
Harry is currently in the U.S. for the wedding of longtime friend Guy Pelly and his fiancée Lizzy Wilson, the heiress to the Holiday Inn fortune. The royal-worthy wedding scheduled for this weekend at the Memphis Polo Club in Tennessee. Prince William is also set to attend the nuptials (sans Kate), but he's still in England—perhaps to avoid the debauchery of Pelly's bachelor party. Luckily for Pelly, Prince Harry was on hand to celebrate his stag night in Miami Beach last night. And with the help of keen-eyed sources, we have an idea of how to throw a bachelor party that would get Harry's seal of approval.
1. Pick a Hot Venue
Harry and a co-ed group of 13 friends hit up Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach to kick off the festivities on Wednesday night. The upscale Chinese restaurant is known for its lively late-night scene, which suited the group well—they showed up around 9:45 pm. The group, which dined at two tables in a private section of the restaurant, was "well-dressed, happy and polite," a source told People.
Tip: A private room is smart, even if you're not royalty. No one wants to eat next to a table of rowdy bachelor party attendees, so get a private space you where you can drink, toast and cheer to your heart's content.
2. Eat to Your Heart's Content
Sources told People that Harry and friends got their fill of food before hitting the town. Among the dishes they ordered were duck salad, a dim sum platter, stir-fried Chilean sea bass with sanpei sauce, stir-fried Bahamian lobster with X.O. sauce and charcoal grilled silver cod with champagne and Chinese honey.
Tip: Starting the night at a good restaurant makes a bachelor party fun for slightly younger or more conservative guests. Also, it's never a good idea to drink on an empty stomach!
3. Get to the Dance Floor
After the group closed out the restaurant while enjoying cocktails and coffee, they went to club LIV, also in the Fontainebleau hotel. According to the source, Prince Harry hit the dance floor and "seemed to have a rousing time."
Tip: Picking a club and restaurant in the same hotel was a very bright idea — especially a posh and lively hotel like the Fontainebleau.
Sounds like Wills missed out on a relatively tame, yet definitely fun night out with his brother and friends. Surely the wedding will offer up plenty of fun for these royal brothers.
