New year, new View: Jenny McCarthy announced that she is engaged to boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg on the ABC talk show this morning!
The bubbly blonde giddily shared the nuptial news while jumping up and down before dishing details of the sweet proposal, which included her son Evan, whom she had with her first husband. "This weekend I was sitting with Donnie ... and he went into the other room and out came Evan with a card that said 'Will' and he handed it to me," she explained. "Then Evan ran away and Evan came in with a card that said 'You.' ... I just started crying and then Evan came back into the room with the word 'Marry' — but spelled wrong."
Typo aside, the best was yet to come. "The last time, Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' ... and he got down on his knee," she said. Wahlberg presented his girlfriend of a year with a yellow sapphire engagement ring.

With a moment like that, McCarthy knew her answer instantly: "Of course, I said, 'Yes,'" she said. "In that moment Evan yelled, 'I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry."
McCarthy added that she feels "like the luckiest girl in the world," saying that "he's so wonderful."
As for their wedding, she revealed that they're considering tying the knot in August or even stretching the engagement out until next year.
Sparks first flew for McCarthy and Wahlberg when they appeared together on Watch What Happens Live last year. Before long, the New Kid on the Block was bonding with McCarthy's son over catching frogs in their backyard.
Sounds like a match made in '90s pop culture heaven. Congratulations to the happy couple!
