From wedding crasher to bridal shower crasher — Taylor Swift is at it again. This weekend, the country-pop crooner made a surprise bridal shower cameo for bride-to-be Gena Gabrielle, a super-fan turned friend whom Swift first met in 2007.
"I had no idea it was going to happen," Gena told Today. "[Taylor] said she planned it with her management and her mom. She said it was all worth it because my face was priceless."
Swift jetted over to Columbus, Ohio, fresh off of a Saturday Night Live appearance, to attend Gabrielle's shower. Gabrielle excitedly posted numerous photos from her unforgettable bash, with captions like "@taylorswift13 thank you so much for everything. You went above & bring my wildest dreams. I can't thank you enough." So, it's safe to assume that this impromptu drop-in was received much more warmly than her "wedding crasher" moment at a Kennedy family event in 2012.

Swift didn't come empty handed: She gave Gabrielle a few gifts including the adorable framed note above (a nod to her hit song "Love Story") and a KitchenAid stand mixer, a wedding registry staple, complete with a hand-written recipe. Ever the gracious superstar, Swift posed for photos with alongside Gabrielle, her bridesmaids and her fiancé, Bryan.
As for Gabrielle, she's well aware of how generous Swift is with her devoted fan following. "I will never forget she did this for me," she told Today. "She is truly an incredible, special person."
Even if Swift didn't serenade the couple with one of her love songs, it sounds like she was the perfect guest.
