We've given you a sneak peek at the inspiration behind the "Coastal Classic", "Graphic Glamour", and "Eclectic Elegance" Brides Live Wedding décor themes, and now, it's time to show off our final masterpiece: Our feminine, romantic "Pretty Pastels." A little bit boho, a little bit rustic, and a lot glamorous, this board combines lovely shades of mint green and peachy pink with silver and gold to inspire pastel-loving brides.
Brooke Keegan, wedding and event planner for Brides Live Wedding, along with Brides editors, drew from a variety of inspiration, from Southern-style mint julep cups to delicate, rosy French macarons. Floral touches like escort cards strung with roses and the wedding cake's giant magnolia sugar bloom made this board feel like the prettiest spring day. A little bit of whimsy goes a long way, as well — the paper fans are sweet and playful. And, of course, they worked with a ton of glam elements. Chanel nail polish, gold-rimmed serveware, and green chandelier earrings ended up providing much of the framework for the final tablescape.
The design that Keegan and Brides editors ultimately crafted drew out the most refined aspects of the inspiration board. With a sprinkling of polka dots and plenty of luxe gold accents, "Pretty Pastels" is supremely chic.
