First Look: Maggie Sottero's New Bridal Collection

If there's one bridal designer that always goes for glamour, it's Maggie Sottero. Intricate bead work cascading down the bodice, which appears as if it's wearable fine jewelry, has become her beloved signature. At her Fall 2014 show, those tried-and-true details walked the runway, but with a few fresh updates: An embellished off-the-shoulder sleeve boasted a fresh cut-out at the shoulder, lightweight feathers were arranged in tiers down a vintage-inspired sheath's skirt, and a blouson dress with embroidery at the waist was an airy departure from the bejeweled mermaids and silky bias-cut dresses we've come to know and love from the designer.

Of course, the gem-encrusted exteriors were a major must. We love how Sottero turns her dresses into sparkly pieces of precious jewels, like the two dresses below. The feather-adorned sheath would serve a fun-loving bride well at a country club reception with a vintage theme, while the bedazzled off-the-shoulder gown, would grab everyone's attention at a big black-tie bash.

And that blouson dress, above? It's perfect for a garden wedding or a bohemian tented reception.
