Designers like Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, Jenny Packham, Amsale, Monique Lhuiller, and more will debut their brand new wedding dress collections, and Brides Fashion Director Rachel Leonard will be catching every single show. As part of an ongoing fashion week series, Rachel will spotlight her favorite looks from the day to give our readers front-row access to the wedding world's most gorgeous gowns. Day One: Theia, Angel Sanchez, Houghton, Alyne, Reem Acra, and Inabal Dror kicked off fashion week with some seriously stunning dresses. Here, Rachel's favorite looks from each collection.

Reem Acra: The designer combined trendy, timeless, and sexy details to create one gorgeous collection of gowns. Rachel's favorite? The one pictured above: "I loved the light-as air lace and classic organza skirt," she says.

Inbal Dror: The new Israeli designer managed to catch the attention of our fashion director with this ethereal confection fit for the bride looking for that fairy-tale moment. The reason it stood out? "The sexy plunging neckline, gorgeous beading, and the the big ball gown silhouette," Rachel says.

Houghton: "This collection was inspired by the '90s and Kate Moss," Rachel explains. "The beaded crop top paired with the long skirt is so cool and modern."

Alyne: Planning a tropical destination wedding? Rachel found your dress. "Alyne did a beautiful gown with a dramatic leg slit that — it would be perfect for a glamourous beach wedding," she says.

Theia: Like Houghton, Theia sent crop tops down their runway. Though, Kate Moss wasn't their muse. "The entire collection was actually inspired by an Irish fairy tale," she explains.

Angel Sanchez: This dress is already a statement-maker just the way it is, but Rachel reveals there's more to it than meets the eye. "This transparent dotted dress is actually a two-in-one look," she says.
