For her Spring 2015 bridal collection, Reem Acra aimed to effortlessly blend trendy, sexy, and timeless details into her new wedding dresses — and we say mission accomplished. The designer sent gorgeous gowns, fit for the classic and romantic bride, floating down the runway.
From stretch duchess satin (a new fabrication for spring) and layers of tulle to silk chiffon, Acra used a mix of fresh and classic fabrics this season. Here, get a closer (and first!) look at a few of her creations:
The dress pictured above features a body-skimming lace bodice offset with an ethereal full tulle skirt. Finished with soft waves, the dress would look perfect walking down the aisle at a black-tie bash, as well as a rustic-chic wedding.
Along with traditional ball gowns, Acra showed a plunging A-line silhouette with lace appliqué. The design somehow manages to give off a vintage and sexy vibe at the same time.
Something that stole the spotlight from this strapless gown's twinkling bodice? The little lace veils on the models hands!
The designer herself striked a pose backstage after her show with two of her models, who were wearing equally stunning bridal looks.
