The save-the-date you send out for your wedding generally speaks volume about your wedding style and who you are as couple. A card studded with political campaign pins? Maybe you two met working on Capitol Hill. A save-the-date printed on tree bark? Guests can expect a rustic, outdoors ceremony.
Which is why we can definitively say that Bambo Obaro and Janice Jentz are, in a phrase, over-the-top. The San Francisco-based lawyers are making waves for their professional-quality, Michael Bay-esque video that gives a whole new meaning to "save-the-date."
Set to dramatic music, including a Jay Z and Kanye West song, the video shows Bambo taking a helicopter to a huge, lavish party at a club to meet his wedding dress-clad fiancé. Fancy cars, beautiful women, and alcohol abounds — it's essentially your basic high-budget movie or music video, except this one is announcing their wedding to friends, family, and the world.
The "Boss Wedding," as they call it, will be in San Francisco on Saturday, July 14. Bambo and Janice even rated their wedding PG-13 (parents strongly cautioned). If the wedding is anything like this save-the-date (and we're guessing it will be), the guests that receive a formal invitation can look forward to a ton of glitz and glamour.
