Well, this is the cutest thing we've seen in quite some time! Ohio-based firefighter Justin Deierling proposed to his girlfriend, who's a middle school teacher, with an action-packed surprise. Using his and his girlfriend's professions to his advantage, Deierling plotted an elaborate fake-out to pop the big question.
The lovestruck firefighter contacted his girlfriend's school to coordinate a fire drill which would force Zahorec — and hundreds of fellow teachers and students — out of the building. Little did Zahorec know, her man was planning to do a lot more than ensure the halls of her school were safe for re-entry.

Before Deierling makes his way to the school, a fellow firefighter holds the round-cut engagement ring and wishes the couple well on camera in the video posted on Today.com. Then, Deierling heads to the school, where all of the teachers and students are already assembled outside. As they arrive, the uniformed men get out of the truck and unveil a sign: "Miss Z — Will you marry me? I love you, Justin." With the cheers of the crowd backing him, Justin gets down one knee. "Miss Z," who's clearly shocked and excited, shakily hands him her hand.

Our favorite part? Post-proposal firefighters hand out ring pops to the entire student body to help celebrate. Some of the kids wrote their teacher congratulatory cards, exclaiming that she's now "Mrs. Z!"
