When we think about the Oscars, it's usually the nominees and the wedding-worthy red-carpet dresses that come to mind. But rarely do we think about what goes on inside the nominees and presenters' heads before they hit that televised stage. On last night's Late Night with Seth Meyers, guest, former SNL co-star, and old friend Jason Sudeikis took viewers back a few weeks to when he presented at the Academy Awards, and let us in on his exact thoughts while on stage. The result? Some adorable insight into his relationship with his (pregnant!) fiancée Olivia Wilde (who, not to mention, looked a-maz-ing that night in Valentino).

Sudeikis begins by telling Meyers that on the way to the Oscars, he was practicing the nearly-impossible-to-pronounce names in his category, Best Live Action Short. "Liv," as he calls Wilde (so cute, right?), was helping him prepare the dialects when they stumbled on a sweet inside joke: That they both hoped Helium—the only title that Sudeikis could comfortably pronounce—would win.
"So the whole joke for Liv and I on the way there was I hope that Helium wins," Sudeikis explained.

Of course, when the time came for Sudeikis to announce the winner, it was indeed Helium. What happened at that moment was even more adorable than the inside joke itself:
"It's me looking down at my lovely fiancée, Olivia, whose in on the joke...and she is doubled-over laughing in the middle of all of these movie stars...well, actually quadrupled over because there's a baby in there."
Next, they cut to a GIF, where you can see Sudeikis sheepishly grinning at his girl, who, as he previously described, was apparently "quadrupled over" with laughter (she couldn't be just doubled over—there's a baby inside her!).
We love their playful nature! And how, at such a formal event, they still managed to have a special and sweet little moment between them. We're sure this is the beginning of many more inside jokes and stolen moments to come!
