The second Whitney Port announced her engagement to Tim Rosenman our brains started whizzing with visions of her future wedding dress. Even before she began designing her fashion line Whitney Eve, Port asserted herself as a major style star on The Hills and The City with her effortlessly cool boho-chic outfits.
Fast forward four years later and Port is still turning heads with her more modern, yet inherently romantic fashion choices (both on the runway and in her closet!). Though, when it comes to her big day she may defer to an unexpected source for fashion inspiration: Rosenman. "I really trust his advice," the reality-star-turned-fashion-designer told Us Weekly of her fiancé. "He has really good taste so I'm always asking for it."
Since we're not sure if the star will or won't design her own dress, we took the liberty of picking out a few suggestions for Port, who confirmed that she and her future hubby will most likely throw a destination wedding. While the details aren't totally clear, she does know that she wants to wear something "simple and classic." Here, our top choices for Port's much-anticipated wedding dress:

We imagine this Cali girl sticking to her girlish and sweet personal style aesthetic on her big day. This spaghetti strap Watters mermaid gown is exactly what Port ordered: subtle and timeless. The curve-hugging silhouette and traditional lace fabric make for the perfectly-pretty bridal look. Plus, don't you see Port rocking a flower crown just like the one photographed above? We do!

It doesn't get more classic than an A-line wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline. The sculpted bustier adds a boho vibe to this romantic lace Sarah Seven design.

This Marchesa off-the-shoulder mermaid dress is even more darling than our first two picks. The sheer sleeves and re-embroidered lace upgrade this gown to a princess-worthy wedding day look Port would approve of.

We have no doubt that one of our favorite West Coast girls will be throwing a destination wedding in a tropical climate. To beat the inevitable heat she'll need an ethereal design that's light-as-air. We love the movement of this easy breezy Christos dress. Also, the illusion neckline makes the gown on-trend — a quality we know Port, who also has a penchant for sleek sheer blouses, can't ignore.

Last but not least, this spaghetti strap Monique Lhuillier lace sheath would not only look killer on Whitney's body, but it's also a classic choice for a stylish beach wedding.
