Call it the mystery of the telltale ring: Nicki Minaj is potentially engaged—or even married—to Safaree Samuels, her boyfriend of ten years. The over-the-top "Super Bass" rapper sparked the rumors with her recent Instagram pictures from her trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She and Samuels sported conspicuous matching diamond bands on their left ring fingers.
It appears that the couple traveled with friends to the beach town resort, where Minaj starred in a bathing suit photo shoot. We initially assumed that there was a romantic beach proposal or wedding, but a day before their vacation Samuels posted an Instagram photo of Minaj flaunting her ring during a drive through her native Queens, New York. Perhaps they both decided to wear engagement rings after he proposed? Better yet, their Cabo trip could have been a post-wedding getaway! Either way, both are alternative ideas that are totally up Minaj's glittery alley.

Minaj never fails to dazzle in her outlandish getups — remember the fake priest outfit she wore to the 2012 Grammys? So, if she did say "I do" in Mexico, we can picture her walking down a sandy aisle in something super unconventional like a white bikini. If she's engaged, then we definitely have an outrageously unique wedding dress to look forward to. Maybe a brightly-colored gown?
Whatever the reason for the rings (they could be just very expensive accessories), they're a reminder of their super-sweet long-term romance. Another reminder?
