We merely fantasized about snagging some of the Elizabeth Taylor's drool-inducing gems when Christie's auctioned the late star's jewelry collection in December. But Cynthia Rowley was among those who actually bid.
The desinger had her eye on Taylor's diamond wedding bands (above) given to her by husband Richard Burton, which sold to another bidder for more than $1 million. "Let's just say it went for, uh, ten times what I was willing to pay," she told New York Magazine. "One day I'll get something, though. I'll get my history, my memento.
