Love, marriage, and happily ever after...are singles in America over that holy trinity of romance—or still hopeful? Never fear, romantics: According to a new survey, true love is trending! Match.com's Singles in America study surveyed 5,300 single people across the country, asking questions about everything from their dating habits (the Internet is currently the number one way to find a date in the U.S.!), to their sex lives (random fact: 50 percent of singles want to have sex on a boat), to their thoughts about marriage. Check out these surprising stats:

• Marriage for the majority! Are those wedding bells we hear? It turns out that 79 percent of men and women in their 20s and 62 percent of those in their 30s want to get married. Wedding planners, take note!

• Looks like all those Disney fairy tales paid off: A whopping 89 percent of singles still believe in a 'happily ever after.'

• It's never too early to start checking for deal-breakers: 51 percent of singles have imagined a future together during a first date.

• People in love are more diverse than ever: 75 percent of singles are open to a relationship with someone of a different ethnic background; 70 percent would commit to someone of a different faith.

• Marriage has officially become all-inclusive: 43 percent of lesbians want to get married; while 41percent of gay men hope to.

• And most importantly, our priorities are in check: 86 percent agree that the primary reason for marrying is to "have a committed partner to share [their lives] with." Only 14 percent admit to being interested in marriage for financial security.

So get ready for lots of double dates, engagement announcements and wedding invitations! It sounds like your single friends just might be following you down the aisle.
