Just in time for One Direction fans to finally get over the shock that Zayn Malik is engaged, his fiancée is dishing on their upcoming wedding!
Perrie Edwards, a singer in Little Mix, a British girl group that formed on The X Factor, opened up about her engagement and heartthrob fiancé during the band's visit to MTV News on Friday.

When asked about the best part of her engagement, Perrie quipped, "The rock...isn't that the best part? When everyone is like 'Wow'." She then gave a real, and completely adorable, answer. "No I was joking...just knowing that I'm going to be with someone that I love forever."
Though she sounds head-over-heels in love, there is one thing Edwards doesn't appreciate about her future hubby: His attempt to shirk wedding-planning responsibilities! "Well, he tried to get out of it. He said, 'You know what? The wedding, it's all about the lady.' He went, 'Honestly, it's your day. You're the princess. You go all out and then just let me know what you want,'" Perrie said, adding that they haven't made much progress in planning. "I went, 'You're not getting out of it that easy, love ... You're planning it with us, thank you very much.' He thought he was clever, but no, I'm one step ahead."
Edwards' fellow Little Mixer Leigh-Anne Pinnock promised that, regardless of who does the bulk of planning, it will be "the best wedding ever." Like we had any doubts about that!

Edwards and Malik confirmed their engagement last August after Edwards was seen sporting a three-stone diamond engagement ring at the London premiere of her fiancé's 3-D flick, One Direction: This is Us.
Edwards' mother Deborah confirmed the news to Real Radio, saying, "Yes, it's true. They got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely. It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It's just perfect and they get on so well together. It's just fabulous."
"Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private," a label rep added.
Private until they start gabbing to interviewers—and that's just how we like it!
