Our February/March issue is finally here! And, in addition to all of Brides' stunning wedding day inspiration, advice, and tools that appear in each issue, we have an exclusive look at Zac Posen's upcoming wedding dress collection, Truly Zac Posen, available exclusively in David's Bridal stores in February 2014. Better yet, we nabbed supermodel, social media star, and one of Zac's BFF's, Coco Rocha, to wear one of his ultra body-skimming and feminine designs as our cover model! Aside from the playful pair's jaw-dropping spread in book, we spoke to Zac, fashion all-star and eveningwear genius, to get all of the details on his new bridal line, his friendship with Coco (he even designed her custom wedding dress back in 2010), and what it was like shooting the cover.

Brides: What was it like shooting the Brides cover with Coco? Any highlights from shoot day?
Zac Posen: It was an incredibly fun day! I loved dancing around with my dear friend. We were reliving the day of her wedding, trying on different dresses, veils, jewelry and bouquets. Every moment was a celebration of friendship, style, and bridal glamour.
Brides: From where did you draw inspiration for your designs? Was the gown you created for Coco a launching point?
ZP: Truly Zac Posen is my love note to a bride on her most beautiful day. That was the starting point of my collection. I try to push design boundaries using new draping and fabric manipulation techniques every time I approach a new design. Coco's wedding dress was my very emotional and unique love note to a dear friend who means the world to me.
Brides: What are you most excited about your new David's Bridal line?
ZP: First and foremost, I'm excited about the possibility to offer beautiful gowns to an exceptionally diverse array of women at affordable prices. The bridal collection is offered from sizes 0 to 26, while the social occasion dresses range from a size 0 to a size 14.
Brides: Frank Sinatra and classic show tunes were playing nonstop during the shoot—what about this style of music and it's theatricality inspires you?
ZP: It's elegant, dramatic, and rooted in modern American glamour.
Brides: What do you hope for this line and would you like to continue working in bridal?
ZP: I had been waiting on the right opportunity to design bridal for a larger audience, and that came along last year. David's Bridal has an unparalleled knowledge of the bridal market, I feel confident about the great future of this partnership. Speaking of the future, I have very high expectations for Truly Zac Posen. We have already started working on forthcoming seasons and I would love to be able to share more details. Stay tuned!
