Four years after their surprise wedding that was planned in one week, Khloé Kardashian is ending her marriage to Lamar Odom. TMZ first reported on her plans after she posted this message on her Instagram account: "I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish."
Though the pair had a quickie, one-month courtship, their relationship always appeared rock-solid on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and their spin-off show, Khloe and Lamar. But the couple had a rocky year weathering separation rumors amid reports of Odom's drug addiction. Just last month, Kardashian and Odom were spotted going to couples therapy, an admirable step toward saving a marriage.

A source told Us Weekly that Kardashian and Odom hadn't spoken since they spent Thanksgiving apart, though it appears that the decision wasn't easy. "She flip-flopped several times, but she can't imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease," the source said.
As her sister Kim plans her wedding to Kanye West, Khloe will grapple with divorce proceedings and gaining strength. She is also allegedly asking the judge to legally remove Odom from her last name.
We must say, of all of the Kardashian sisters' relationships, we were always rooting for Khloe and Lamar because of their obvious affection and commitment. Still, their divorce proves that even if the outcome is a separation, couples therapy and hard work are still worth the while. Just as Miley and Liam's breakup made us get a little deep about Hollywood relationships, this one is a lesson in perseverance. We admire Khloe for her strength during this time and wish her the best.
