After Brides Live Wedding winning couple Briana and Jason said "I do" front of their nearest, dearest, and the thousands of viewers who helped choose every detail of their celebrity-style celebration, the real adventure was just getting started. Only two days later the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Schnitzer were whisked away to their honeymoon in the Cayman Islands. "We are so happy that we took our honeymoon right away," says the bride. "We definitely needed to decompress and relax after the whirlwind of events. It was the perfect way to start our marriage!"
The couple spent their first night at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. "The Westin was fantastic!" says Briana. "The staff was friendly and the grounds were very tropical. The sparkling pool with a swim-up bar was just steps from the beach. Our room was on the first floor and our patio doors opened right up to the sand!"

During their first full day on the island, Briana and Jason had a chance to explore Camana Bay, a town just a few minutes from Owen Roberts International Airport in George Town, the capital city of the Cayman Islands. Dinner that night at Ortanique "was fabulous. We had a table right on the water overlooking the bay," says Briana.

The third day of their stay brought a fun honeymoon photo shoot with Cayman Islands wedding photographer Rebecca Davidson. (A honeymoon shoot is a great idea for couples who worry they'll end up with few photos together if one of them always has to play photographer!) "The photo shoot was a blast!" says Briana. "Rebecca was so funny and made us feel relaxed right away. She took us to some of the favorite local spots. The natural beauty of the island is so breathtaking. We were having so much fun, we didn't want it to end!"
After the photo shoot, Briana and Jason unwound with a couple's massage at The Westin's Hibiscus Spa. "It was our first time getting a couple's massage," says the bride. It was romantic and very relaxing at the same time—just what we needed after our busy week."

The next day, Briana and Jason set off to Little Cayman, just a quick 40-minute plane ride from Grand Cayman. "The plane was a Twin Otter that seats just 20 people," says Briana. The flight was quick and painless, although we were both a little nervous since we had never been on such a small plane before. But the it was a beautiful view from above and we were able to look out and see the island below us."
Above, Jason gets settled into the couple's private beachfront condo at the Southern Cross Club. "The Southern Cross Club is a hidden gem, which we highly recommend to anyone and everyone," the bride says. "Most people go there for the amazing diving, but since Jason and I were not certified for diving we just relaxed and took it the beauty of the island. Our room was oceanfront with nothing but sand, water, and coconut trees to look at. It was extremely secluded and peaceful."

Setting off on two wheels, Mr. and Mrs. Schnitzer explored the island and enjoyed lunch at Little Cayman Beach Resort's Beach Nuts Bar, a unique spot that invites diners to grab driftwood from the beach and paint their own masterpiece to decorate the restaurant and resort. The couple also made time for an "iguana tour" with expert Mike Vallee and a kayaking trip out to the idyllic and uninhabited Owen Island before enjoying dinner at Pirate's Point Resort.

After another quick to return to Grand Cayman, the couple settled back into The Westin. On day six of their honeymoon, Briana and Jason enjoyed their favorite meal of the trip at the historic Grand Old House. "We got there just before the sunset so we got to see that and then enjoy a delicious candlelit dinner," says Briana.
Briana and Jason's last full day on Grand Cayman was action-packed to say the least. "Swimming with the stingrays at Stingray City was an experience we will never forget," says Briana. "On the way out to the sandbar, the boat captain assured us the stingrays were very friendly and that we had nothing to worry about. (The stingrays are wild and still have their stingers in them.) Even with these words of encouragement I still made Jason jump in the water first! But our captain was right—the stingrays were great! They swam all around us and we even got to hold them! For the record, they feel like a soft, rubbery mushrooms." Snorkeling in the warm, clear ocean was another trip highlight.

A final dinner in a romantic, private cabana on the beach, rounded out the perfect honeymoon. "We couldn't have picked a better way to spend our last night in Grand Cayman," says the bride.

With only a few hours before they had to head to the airport and back to Los Angeles, Briana and Jason decided to squeeze in one last adventure and test drive water jetpacks. "The experience was unreal," says Briana. "To be hovering out in the open ocean was totally awesome!"
