While bold, brilliant yellow was definitely one of the red carpet "it" colors, Mission Impossible beauty Paula Patton stood out from the rest at this year's Golden Globes in a striking marigold gown by Monique Lhuillier. The strapless design—which the actress paired with simple diamond earrings—features asymmetrical draping down the skirt and ruching across the bodice, with a sexy-yet-elegant trumpet silhouette. Lhuillier, one designer with a big presence on this year's red carpet, sent an almost identical white dresign down her Fall 2012 bridal runway (give or take a sweetheart neckline) that would make any bride red carpet-ready.
