Award show red carpets just aren't complete unless one or two A-listers don an elaborate Marchesa gown. But at the 2012 Golden Globes, three stars turned up in designs from fashion-forward duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Though taken from the spring ready-to-wear collection, Lea Michele's Marchesa gown in liquid-silver mirrors much of the house's Spring 2012 bridal collection, from the vine-like appliqués scrolling down the sleeves to the sexily sheer bodice and neckline.
Fellow Glee actress Dianna Argon also sported a Marchesa gown in bold red with a tiered lace skirt and intricate cutout details, while Shailene Woodley—of Secret Life of the American Teenager fame—selected a soft, ethereal design straight from the Marchesa bridal runway. All three looks suggest distinct variations on the Marchesa woman in Hollywood, from a smoldering songstress to an uptown goddess to a budding ingenue.
