Earlier this month Extra host Mario Lopez (of Saved by the Bell fame) tied the knot with his longtime love Courtney Mazza at a friend's home in Punta Mita, Mexico. We caught wind of all the magical details, including the quiet vows the pair recited to one another and their sweet 2-year old daughter, Gia, who breezed down the aisle donning a replica of her mother's Ines Di Santo wedding gown. When we heard their wedding cake was designed by TLC's Cake Boss and owner of Carlo's Bakery, Buddy Valastro, we went directly to the source to find out more.

Word is, it took nearly ten hours to conjure up the massive 6-tiered creation, which served over 300 guests. The exterior of the cake matched the couple's glitzy winter theme with rhinestones, pretty pearls and hand-painted sugar roses, while the inside was all about the taste: Buddy alternated chocolate (Courtney's favorite) with Mario's choice of the ever-popular red-velvet variety. Is there anything quite so harmonious? We only wish we could have snagged a slice.
